Remembrance Day
Tuesday, November 11th, 2008We had an extended long weekend, with a day off on Monday and the Remembrance Day on Tuesday. Today we stayed at home relaxing, but last year we went to the Niagara.

Sunday, November 9th, 2008One of my favorites from this year’s lantern festival. I like dragons.
From the 2008 Rogers Chinese Lantern Festival:
Dragons are an icon of Chinese good fortune; symbolic of strength, nobility, and imperial greatness. Pearls represent wisdom, truth and soul.
These dragons are posed reaching out eagerly to clutch at this elusive object; mouths open in anticipation of attaining the prize afforded by capturing the pearl.
